The thing that surprised me the most in this week's reading was how the author put his experience switching target markets. He stated that he switched due to religious tension, but I actually think he was just trying to find a more profitable market. The part of the reading where the author described micro-financing was extremely confusing to me at first, but I reread it a couple of times and was able to develop some understanding on the topic. Given the chance, I would ask the author his exact definition of discrimination, and I would also ask if he thinks financial discrimination is morally correct. This chapter covered some controversial topics and I have to say that I disagree with any form of discrimination regardless of the outcomes for myself.

My Final Reflection
The task that I completed in this class that is going to be the most useful for me in the future is definitely the elevator pitches because they make you an efficient communicator and force you to be confident in what you are presenting. The elevator pitches don't even have to be about a product either, they can be about yourself, so learning how to give an elevator pitch and being able to develop techniques to improve them is only going to help in the future. I'm not sure if I see myself as an entrepreneur yet but I've come a long way and have learned a lot more about what it means and how hard it is to be an entrepreneur. The one thing that I would say to a future student in this class is to make sure you stay on top of this class and don't miss an assignment because you forgot or ran out of time. These assignments will sneak up on you and it can hurt you in the long run.

Elevator Pitch No. 4
The only feedback from my last video that could help this elevator pitch was to not wear my hat which I agree looks unprofessional and wouldn't work in the real world. Other than that I just tried to use the same confidence and enthusiasm I used in my previous pitches.
Venture Concept No. 2
1)
Opportunity
The need that my
business idea will address is that a lot of students forget their keys for
their dorm. This problem adds to the level of stress that students feel during
school and it’s a problem that can be fixed easily. This need is created
because a lot of students are unorganized and always in a hurry to get
place-to-place. Thus they are unable to find their keys or they forget them
which is embarrassing and stressful. The window of opportunity to fulfill this
need is small but very achievable because some of this technology is already in
use but not for universities. This opportunity is large too because many universities
will follow suit of other schools when they discover how useful the product is.
Innovation
The product that
I’m creating is an app and scanner that will utilize the Bluetooth capabilities
of smartphones as a key to dorm houses and rooms. The majority of college
students always have their phone on their person which simplifies the process
of accessing dorms. The Bluetooth from each phone will be registered to the
specific scanner that is outside of each room which will only allow the
occupants of each room to gain access to the room. The app will be free and the
scanners will be sold for $50 a piece. The main way to make money from this
idea is the maintenance and installation fees that will accompany the scanners.
There will always be technical issues that arise at times because they are
unavoidable, which means that we’ll be able to make money off of the
maintenance of our systems.
Venture Concept
The innovation
that I’ve created will solve the issue of college students forgetting or
misplacing the keys to their dorms. College students are constantly on their
phones and phones have essentially become an extension of our person which
means students will always have them to be able to gain access to their rooms. I
think it will be difficult to get universities to switch to this system but if
I’m able to convince one school and have a positive impact on their campus,
then it will be easy to gain access to other universities. Competitors are key
companies and the companies that created the scanner that is attachable to key
chains. These companies however, don’t offer the simplicity of using the phone
and you still need to find your keys. The business surrounding the product
would be built simply with departments in charge of certain aspects of the
business to allow efficiency. There will be departments for the app, sales, the
scanners, as well as maintenance teams that would be able to go out and fix any
scanners that malfunction.
Three minor elements
1.
The
most important resource that I have is my work ethic and my dedication to
succeed when I set my mind to something. This will allow me to push through
hard times and also continue to strive for more when I start to see success.
2.
The
next innovation for my product is to not only gain access to rooms but to make
this a universal key that can give you access to all things that previously
required keys.
If I launched my ideal place in five years would
be on a beach or golf course somewhere because I sold the company for a large
sum of money and I was able to invest the money successfully so I could retire
and enjoy the rest of my life.
Unfortunately I didn't do the last venture concept assignment so I can't give any feedback or provide any details on how I changed my venture concept because I didn't receive any comments. However, I did receive feedback on my What's Next and the feedback was positive and everyone expressed how they thought my next ideas were solid if they could be done in the right amount of time which is something that I'm not sure of
either.
Unfortunately I didn't do the previous venture concept assignment so I can't provide a summary of any feedback because I didn't receive any. I think my concept is pretty simple and straightforward though so I hope it's good enough.

Week 14 Reading Reflection
What really stood out to me was the importance of morals and ethics in entrepreneurship because I always thought it as something that comes naturally and not something that is discussed and explained like other theories and tactics. The discussion about three types of managers was confusing at first but I was able to eventually figure it out. Given the chance, I would ask the author which type of management works best in his opinion. I would also ask him what the difference is between ethics and morals. I don't disagree with anything the author wrote this week.
Google Gold
1. I didn't have a strategy for search engine optimization. I honestly didn't think about it because I was more focused on getting the assignments turned in on time. I don't really know how one would improve their search engine optimization but I definitely didn't spend any time trying to brainstorm ideas.
2. I guess if I had a couple keywords they would have been something like "students" and "bluetooth" because those are pretty big components of my business idea.
3. Social media didn't accept or ignore my blog because I didn't even post it to my social media accounts.
4. My most viral post is my bug list which got 26 views and 5 comments. I think it's the most viral because I threw some sarcasm in there so maybe people liked that.
5. I didn't make it to the first page of the google results with my keywords which really disappoints me but nevertheless they are pretty common things to look up.

Very Short Interview, Part 2
Unfortunately I didn't do the first part to this assignment so I can't really reflect on the previous part. So this time I was able to contact an entrepreneur, Dominick Lucarelli, in time, however I couldn't record it because he lives in Naples which is a little far. So I'll just summarize the answers that he gave to my questions.
1. Did you ever think about closing down at any point?
There have been many times, especially at the beginning, but the toughest was during the housing market crash because as a plaster company houses need to be built for us to get contracted and be successful. I'm happy I didn't but the amount of stress during hard times is incredible and it's something you can't prepare for until you experience it.
2. What's your proudest accomplishment as an entrepreneur?
Being able to build a company that can employ members of my family and being able to provide for my kids.
3. What'y your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Never second guess yourself and your abilities. Find a support system that will support you and know you can become successful, that's what really pushed me to the point that I'm at today.
I think from this class that I have become much more comfortable talking about entrepreneurship because I've gained a lot of respect for people who actually go out and form their own businesses. Although I didn't do the first part, Dom was impressed with my understanding of entrepreneurship and how professionally I was able to speak with him about my business idea with him.

Celebrating Failure
This past semester me and a bunch of my friends have been playing in a competitive intramural softball league. We came into the first game excited because we knew we have the talent but we ended up losing by one run after having two opportunities to tie the game up. This nail biter of a game was rough because we knew we could've won without a couple of dumb mistakes, but it was also a good measure to see how good our team actually was. We fought through adversity and were able to come back, but we still failed as a team to get the win. I think before this semester this type of lose would have destroyed me, but I was able to see some positives in this loss because of what I've learned this semester. I learned we were a good team that can compete with anyone, but we just had to get rid of some rust so we could end playing at our full potential.
Week 13 Reading Reflection
The most interesting thing I found in the reading this week was just how much goes in to the valuation process of a business. Overall this chapter wasn't all that confusing however they didn't give any reasons on how people attempt to avoid certain costs during a start-up. Given the opportunity I would ask the author if he has a favorite method of valuation and I would also ask what are the most difficult parts of buying or selling a business. I don't disagree with anything the author wrote this week.

My Exit Strategy
My exit strategy is to sell the company quick and be able to live comfortably for the rest of my life. I want to retire early and be able to enjoy life so I think most of my decisions throughout this class about my business have been to make it a quick success that people want to buy for large amount of money. This exit strategy has definitely impacted my decisions because I identify opportunities that can be fixed fast and I can use to my benefit to become almost like a fad product for a little bit, but still offer the opportunity to expand my business in the future so other companies are willing to buy me out.

Week 12 Reading Reflection
This week the part of the reading that surprised me most was how many company's don't have sufficient strategic planning. I always thought strategic planning was an absolute necessity for a company at the higher levels of doing business. The part that was confusing to me was the two different mindsets because I didn't see a lot of difference between the two of them honestly. If I had the opportunity to ask the author any question I would ask if he could explain the two different mindsets and how they differ from each other a little bit better. I'd also ask him if there is, definitively, a more effective strategic process than the others. I didn't disagree with anything from the author this week.

Amazon Whisperer
The way my business produces revenue is through university administrations purchasing the product and paying for it to be installed into the dorms. There would also be a way for people that like the product and want it for their homes or apartments could buy and have one of the systems installed. I couldn't find a compliment product that I have thought of on amazon so I found a possible competitor which is a bluetooth key locator. These are cheap and could be put on keys however they receive poor reviews averaging a 2.5/5 star rating. People complain about it annoying them because it alerts your phone at odd times and is constantly running rather than when you want it to be working. I think this is a strong competitor but with these reviews, I believe that there is still a wide market to impress consumers and improve upon. Thus I think my bluetooth key system would be better because you don't even need keys at all to have access to your room or apartment.
Week 11 Reading Reflection
The biggest surprise to me was the amount of thought and preparation goes into innovation and the importance of being able to keep up with an evolving market. The part that I found confusing was how different business mode innovation and technological innovation can be because I always saw them as a joint thing. Given the opportunity, I would ask the author what is the best way to adapt with an evolving market? And also, what sectors do you believe will evolve the most in the coming years? I don't disagree with anything the author wrote this week.

My Unfair Advantage
1. Untapped market
The market I'm targeting is very large but it is currently not being served
2. Cheapness and Laziness of the target market
College administrations just want something cheap and effective, thus if you give it to them then all of them follow suit
3. Connections
The connections are in multiple fields that improve the product and help me with the business side as well
4. Dedication
I am very tenacious and not many people want to succeed as bad as I do
5. Financial Capital
I have already discussed this idea with certain investors and they would be willing to invest
6. Ability to develop more
This idea has the ability to develop into a larger scale operation with the proper timing
7. One buyer follows another
Once it breaks out that my product is successful, all college administrations will want it
8. Management
This company would be run well and efficiently under capable leadership
9. Hard-working culture
This company would be regarded as a very hard-working company, and always on top of their work.
10. Efficiency
This product offers efficiency and the company will be efficient which sets it apart from the rest
The greatest resource to my company is it's target market, they are cheap, it is untapped, and once one has a good experience with the product the rest will follow. All I have to do is be the first to emerge as a candidate, keep my prices low, and wait for the benefits as long as I maintain a good relationship and keep the product working efficiently.

Growing Social Capital
1) Mike Lucarelli- Domain expert
Mike is an app designer which is exactly what I am trying to do. I contacted him through e-mail and he gave me advice on how to go about developing my app and what steps I have to take to get it approved. He's a great asset because he has developed apps before and can be a mentor to me.
2) Josh Denison- Market expert
Josh served as an RA for one year at Grove City College and knows the struggle of students in their dorms. I contacted him by email and he was able to give me his thoughts on whether he thought my idea would be accepted.
3) Nadir Rechka- Supplier
Nadir has developed a design that would allow bluetooth to grant students access to their rooms. I also contacted him by email and he told me about how much they would be and how hard the devices are made.
This experience allowed me the opportunity to make friends in the industry that I'd like to start my business. It was an interesting experience and it helped me discover how if I can make friends I can be even more successful.

Week 10 Reading Reflection
The amounts and forms of liability was what surprised me the most in this week's reading. I also have never thought of a loan as a liability before reading this week. One thing that confused me this week was the balance sheet because accounting is just something that doesn't come to me quite as easy as I want it to sometimes. If given the chance I would ask the author why operating expenses are counted in admin expenses. I would also ask what's the easiest way to gain capital to start a business. I didn't disagree with anything in the reading this week.

Elevator Pitch No. 3
The feedback that I received was very positive but what stuck out to me was that people said I should show a little more enthusiasm. In this pitch I think I added some enthusiasm and it helped make this pitch more convincing.

My Secret Sauce
1) I'm an extremely hardworking person and whatever I set my mind to gets done. I also have very strong leadership skills that I've developed throughout my life which allows me to succeed in various settings. I'm very perseverant and I always try to overcome adversity rather than let it break me down. I also believe I'm fairly smart and have the ability to generate new ideas. I also like to think that I have an entrepreneurial spirit that drives me to success.
2)
My key takeaways from these interviews were that people see me as someone who's dedicated to what I do. I think that's a good thing to portray to people, I'm not just someone who will stop when something is okay, I'd rather drive myself to excellence.
3) I see myself as someone that's dedicated and hardworking as well, but I do think that I'm very lazy at times and that hinders me from overcoming some things. I think there are always differences in how you see yourself and how others see you because people don't know whats going on in your life or in your mind, they only see what you show them or what you tell them. I do believe that my interviewees were right about me and I hope that I can prove them right because I think if that's how people see me then I can be successful.

Week 9 Reading Reflection
What surprised me about this reading was when the author addressed how recently, marketers changed their focus and made their efforts much more customer-oriented. It made me think about what their approach was before if they're now turning to customer oriented. The marketing strategy that confused me the most was that some marketers believe penny differences in prices attract more customers. I've never noticed how prestigious items end in an even number and common goods end in an odd number. A question I would ask the author is, why haven't marketers always focused on the consumer, why are they changing now? Another question I would ask is, does the author really believe that penny differences in prices truly attract more customers? I didn't really disagree with anything the author wrote, I just question a couple things.

Idea Napkin No.2
1. I believe that I'm a strong leader as I've held several leadership positions in many organizations and teams throughout my life and have developed very strong leadership skills. I'm also very persistent and if I set my mind to something I'll make it happen. I think this business idea is a very strong idea and cold be huge if I can develop it, which means that I'm aspiring to become more technologically savvy to produce and maintain this idea.
2. What this product is offering is a way to create one less thing to worry about for college students. You don't need keys anymore, just remember your phone.
3. My target market is college administrations by showing how it could save them money and help students avoid unneeded stress if they are unorganized or in a rush like everyone can be sometimes.
4. It costs money to have to change locks for students and produce keys for students, especially if they are constantly losing or forgetting their keys. It's much less of a hassle for the universities to install my technology. This also reduces an unneeded element of stress for students, which may seem minuscule but all stress adds up and takes a toll on the body.
5. What sets me apart from other people is my drive to succeed. Like I said before it takes a lot for me to stop pursuing something I set my mind to.
I think I need to figure out how I'm going to convince administrations that this is essential to the student's experience in a dorm. I think it would be easier to sell to the students, however it's up to the university to actually install them and allow them which is something that I overlooked at the beginning. I definitely have to solidify this aspect before I can move on.
"Feedback Memo"
1. Sell to the administration rather than the students- I changed the target market from students to universities and now want to attack that market strongly.
2. UF wouldn't have to waste money on keys- I incorporated this as a way to pitch my idea to the new target market and it helped me realize that I should change my target market as well.
3. This would be great for my freshman roommate- Helped show that there is a need out there and that this is something that could be successful in the future.
4. This idea has already been achieved- Competition is key and I think that I could compete well with my attributes, however I'm unaware of this technology available in dorms.
5. You are on to something big- I like to think that I am on to something big sometimes and I believe that changing my target market was the first step in a direction that could lead me to success.

Week 8 Reading Reflection
I found the term "angel investors" to be very funny and very surprising too actually. I think most of the chapter was rather confusing because the author used too many terms that I was not familiar with. A question I would ask the author given the chance is, what is the best way to get people to invest in your company. I would also ask the author if he recommends equity or debt financing. I do not disagree with anything he said.
Half-way Reflection
1. Some techniques that I've developed are to constantly check the Canvas site to make sure I don't miss anything, and also to be willing to do whatever an assignment is asking of me. At the beginning of the course I skipped a couple things because I didn't want to do them but now I have accepted that I'm going to put myself in uncomfortable positions no matter what.
2. I thought about giving up towards the beginning because it seemed like this class would be a lot of tedious and irrelevant work, but I stuck with it because I was somewhat interested to see if this class could help me develop some skills I didn't know I had.
3. Three tips I would give are: 1) Be willing to do all the assignments, 2) Don't do the bare minimum, 3) Take everything seriously and you will get the best out of the class

Free Money
I went to Social 28 and just hung out in front of the building because I always see people walking by there on my way home. I also went into the parking garage because there wasn't as much foot traffic when I did this at night. I'll approach just about anyone that I can find because it's getting late. I think I'll just start the conversation with a simple "excuse me" because it makes it sound like I need help with something and most people will be willing to stop just in case. I think I'll be able to get about 4 out of 5 because it is kind of sketchy to hand someone a dollar bill at night for free.
I think this was actually pretty hard because I'll be honest in saying that I did this at 8 the night it was due so I was trying to walk a fine line of trying not to look really sketchy because there weren't that many people walking around. The two interactions that I filmed were pretty easy though, except the second guy actually turned around after seeing the camera and asked us why we were filming it so I had to try to play that off without telling him exactly. My predictions were wrong because I was successful with all 5 dollar bills because I guess they felt like they had to because of how big the pay it forward culture has taken off, so they felt obligated to help me out. I didn't really make any assumptions about people, I just kind of had to talk to everyone, but I did try to predict how they would react so I could use the recording.

Week 7 Reading Reflection
The thing that surprised me the most in this week's reading was the amount of different approaches to market segmentation, I knew some of the ways but this reading exposed me to several new ones. I don't really understand why companies continue to use market segmentation if it clearly has underwhelming results. Given the chance, I would ask the author about which companies have and haven't thrived through the use of market segmentation. I would also ask why he believes companies still continue to use market segmentation today. I did not disagree with anything in the reading this week.

Elevator Pitch No. 2

Week 6 Reading Reflection
I was surprised that the author relied so heavily on SWOT analysis being the main key as to how you should start a business. I always felt that SWOT analysis wasn't enough to make something become successful, but I do believe it is somewhat helpful. I found the assumption that uncertainty is low to be really confusing this week. I always thought markets and businesses were unpredictable. I would ask the author if his view on the forces has changed since he wrote the book. I would also ask if he believes the forces can be used interchangeably throughout all markets. I do not disagree with anything he said.

Idea Napkin No. 1
1. I believe that I'm a strong leader as I've been in leadership positions in many organizations and teams throughout my life and have developed very strong leadership skills. 3. My demographic is all college students that live in dorms, but especially stressed out students, or ones that are constantly having to ask the front desk for their spare key to open their door.
4. It's a hassle and embarrassing to get your spare key because you forgot your other keys. It also costs money to get new keys if you lose your originals or lock yourself out too many times.
5. What sets me apart from other people is my drive to succeed. Like I said before it takes a lot for me to stop pursuing something I set my mind to.
I think these elements gel together really well to create something successful. However, I know this technology already exists so I would have to look into any patents or other legal entities that could stop me from producing this technology. I think that if I could find a way to produce this app that it could prove to be very fruitful with my drive to succeed.

Week 5 Reading Reflection
The thing that surprised me the most in the reading was that there are so many different factors that go in to starting a successful business. I was a little confused with the terms dynamic solidity and dynamic liquidity. I would ask the author if a person can be successful if they learn about how to run a new business by themselves on the fly. I would also ask the author if a business could succeed after failing if they continue selling the same product. I didn't disagree with anything the author wrote this week.

Elevator Pitch No. 1
My business idea is what I like to call Key On-the-go. It's a widget for your smartphone that, partnered with the proper scanning device, will allow college students to access their dormitories and their rooms by using the bluetooth on their smartphones.

Week 4 Reading Reflection
The most surprising part of the reading to me was the amount of things that go into a creative environment because there were things that seem so minuscule but make a large difference in how successful the environment will be. One thing that was confusing to me was how the author says that it's possible to be creative in any place any time, but then emphasizes later one specific place a person can be creative. One question I would ask the author is if he believes kids are pushed away from being creative with our current education system. I would also ask him is why he thinks that corporate entrepreneurship is so good at solving very difficult issues. I didn't really disagree with anything that the author wrote this week.

Top 5 World Problems
Problems
- Increasing tension between Western World and radical Islam
- Growth of the global population
- Amount of available drinking water
- Finding more efficient fuel sources
- Racism
I believe the growing tensions between the western world and radical Islam is the most serious issue because of the unknown possibilities for where and when terrorist acts can take place. Theses acts pray on innocent civilians and bring tragedy to whole nations, but if they develop certain technologies can lead to the destruction of much more than the destruction that took place on 9/11.
Solutions
- Develop filtration systems that can allow people to drink water that would be contaminated otherwise
- Reduce the amount of fossil fuel use and acknowledging global warming as an actual issue
- Send satellites to hover over Africa and give the governments of Africa some responsibility over them so they feel like they can have some control.
- We isolate ourselves slightly and let other countries be the world's police while we figure out our own issues.
- Incentivize automobile makers to work more on their production of cars that use alternative fuel sources.
I think developing cheap and practical filtration systems would be the easiest solution to implement because there have already been strides made in this area, but the distribution and effectiveness hasn't been ideal. If we could further the development of these filtration systems needed to provide enough water to those that need it, we will have a much better world.

Identifying Local Opportunities
DISH, WINK remain at odds
http://infoweb.newsbank.com/resources/doc/nb/news/15A82F30ACCD5C40?p=AWNB
The local CBS affiliate for Southwest Florida is in a contract dispute with the television provider, DISH. The people at WINK don't think DISH is offering enough money to allow WINK to broadcast over their service, because they are offering less than all other providers. This has resulted in a blackout of the channel to DISH customers in the area since January 8th.
The problem in this article is that customers of DISH can't view their normal CBS programs because of the contract dispute. The customers are the ones that are losing the most because they are paying for the TV service but if they can't watch CBS shows. This could also lead to the customers finding a new provider and thus losing DISH money, therefore they are also affected by this contract dispute.
Does law require directors be full-time residents?
http://infoweb.newsbank.com/resources/doc/nb/news/15A92EDF52A97F10?p=AWNB
In this article there are several issues that people are asking about to a group of lawyers from a local firm. They are asking certain questions that pertain to the Florida community association laws. The answers to these questions are addressed but the article itself provides a perspective of how things can worry residents or bother them.
The biggest problem which I believe to be the one in the title is whether or not the head of a community association has to be a full-time resident, which is a large issue because in Southwest Florida most condominium complexes are primarily comprised of snowbirds. This issue is felt by the residents of the communities because they need to know who to vote for to be their voice and leader for the community association.
Naples candidates differ over commercial flights at airport
http://infoweb.newsbank.com/resources/doc/nb/news/15A8DD9E2F4F9A50?p=AWNB
The small local airport in Naples has signed a deal with a commercial airline that will service a twice a week flight to Newark, New Jersey. This has caused some uproar because many don't feel that it's necessary, leading the issue to be a hot topic of debate for the mayoral and city counsel candidates.
The issue here is that many people don't believe the airport was transparent when making this deal and question whether the residents truly wanted this to happen. There is also the issue of noise that will come from the planes as they come and go. These issues directly affect the residents of Naples because they are the ones that will deal with the noise as well as the mayoral candidates because whether they address this question correctly may cost them the election.
Measure to override fracking bans advances
http://infoweb.newsbank.com/resources/doc/nb/news/15A88712B1F41218?p=AWNB
A bill that would override any local ordinances against fracking was passed to appear at the Florida Senate floor. It will allow drilling companies the opportunity to establish themselves while the local governments file a complaint as to why they don't want drilling to occur.
The issue at hand with this bill passing is that fracking will become harder to fight. There are severe concerns among local governments as to the environmental issues that can come with fracking. The fracking will affect residents of the areas that are being drilled because they will constantly see the rigs, and they may also have to deal with any environmental issues that occur.
Proposed high-rise condos draw more criticism from Lee residents
http://infoweb.newsbank.com/resources/doc/nb/news/15A82F3154373390?p=AWNB
There is a proposal for high-rise condos to be built along a golf course in Bonita Springs. The residents of this area don't believe that it would be smart to build these condos and have voiced their concerns. The proposal still has to go through several more city reviews and the residents' concerns will be factored in to the final decision.
The issue here is that residents believe there will be too much traffic on a two lane road both during and after the construction takes place. They are the ones that will be inconvenienced by this because they are the ones that will be driving the road.

World's Biggest Problems
1. Homelessness--- Many states in the US saw an increase in homelessness in 2015. Although we're one of the richest nations, we have an insanely high homeless population.
Possible Solution--- Take of the defense budget and help these people get back on their feet.
2. Tension rising between the western world and radical Islam.--- Radical Islamic groups have become more aggressive and hostile toward the western world as a whole. Islam is a very individualistic religion so some people will follow what others say because they are looking for someone to follow.
Possible Solution--- Muslims need to find a leader that can help guide them as a figurehead, such as how catholicism has the pope.
3. More efficient fuel sources.--- We will eventually run out of oil, or destroy the planet first. There have been strides with the automobile industry but we need a larger change.
Possible Solution--- Incentivize automobile makers to work more on their production of cars that use alternative fuel sources.
4. The unrest between Russia and the United States.--- With the heavy sanctions that the US implemented on Russia and other nations following suit, tensions have definitely increased with Russia. Although we haven't fully acknowledged the threat of unrest with Russia, a surge of aggression could happen due to desperation which could lead to WW3.
Possible Solution--- We isolate ourselves slightly and let other countries be the world's police while we figure out our own issues.
5. Global Warming---- 2015 was the hottest year ever recorded by scientists. We need to acknowledge the issue of carbon pollution so we can try to slow down this process of global warming that has the potential to wipe out communities.
Possible Solution--- Reduce the use of fossil fuels and actually acknowledge this issue so we can prepare to solve the problem.
6. Growth of the global population.--- We don't have enough resources to successfully support this amount of people on the planet. We also need to find enough space to put these people which causes another issue because we are losing farmland throughout the globe.
Possible Solution--- Educate the youth more effectively and possibly limit the amount of children people can have.
7. The amount of available drinking water.---- With the global population increasing and the overcrowding of cities in poor countries, fresh drinking has become an issue for many societies.
Possible Solution--- Develop filtration systems that can allow people to drink water that would be contaminated otherwise.
8.Obesity--- The average weight of people has increased which causes health problems and other diseases such as heart failure and Type II Diabetes.
Possible solution--- Lower the prices of healthy food alternatives and make exercise mandatory for children so it becomes a habit for them for the rest of their lives.
9. Internet issues in Africa.--- This limits the amount of advances nations in Africa can make because they can't educate their children and young people about global issues or technology itself. It's important that they obtain this technology to advance their societies and develop as a continent as a whole.
Possible Solution--- Send satellites to hover over Africa and give the governments of Africa some responsibility over them so they feel like they can have some control.
10. Racism--- This is a huge issue that occurs across the globe. With the increase in social media however, everyone is exposed to racism within an instant no matter where it happens which has led to insane racial tension across the globe.
Possible Solution--- There will always be some sort of racism because people are different looking and that's a way to insult someone if a person is jealous of them or mad with another person, but I think there needs to be initiatives led by the leaders of our societies that will lead to an education of the youth to help raise awareness among our young people.
