Week 12 Reading Reflection

This week the part of the reading that surprised me most was how many company's don't have sufficient strategic planning. I always thought strategic planning was an absolute necessity for a company at the higher levels of doing business. The part that was confusing to me was the two different mindsets because I didn't see a lot of difference between the two of them honestly. If I had the opportunity to ask the author any question I would ask if he could explain the two different mindsets and how they differ from each other a little bit better. I'd also ask him if there is, definitively, a more effective strategic process than the others. I didn't disagree with anything from the author this week.
