My exit strategy is to sell the company quick and be able to live comfortably for the rest of my life. I want to retire early and be able to enjoy life so I think most of my decisions throughout this class about my business have been to make it a quick success that people want to buy for large amount of money. This exit strategy has definitely impacted my decisions because I identify opportunities that can be fixed fast and I can use to my benefit to become almost like a fad product for a little bit, but still offer the opportunity to expand my business in the future so other companies are willing to buy me out.
Dylan, I really love your picture. I think it's great that it clearly states retirement ahead. I think a lot of people would also really appreciate the picture you choose. I think that is a great exit strategy plan. I would certainly want to sell my company quick also and live the way I'm accustomed to. Great post and check my blog out if you get a chance! http://juliannacaroline25.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy-week-13.html
ReplyDeleteDylan,
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you. I too wish to retire early and have a comfortable life. However, I think that I would still want to keep a percentage of the company, just so that I can pass my shares along to my succeeding family. I also agree with Julianna, your picture is great! I'm in my third year now and I just want to get done with school already to start making money and begin to save. I like how your post was short and to the point.

Hi Dylan that's a decent exit strategy. I do recommend thinking about investing the money from the sale so that you're money can continue to make money for you, and you're not in a situation where you have less and less every month until the funds run out.
